Lazy Days - Portland, OR
Objet Trouvé Wild Ale
I got the opportunity to work with a brewery in Portland, OR named Lazy Days. They were looking for an artist to make some can labels. This label was for their new wild ale titled Objet Trouvé, the notes of this beer were citrus flavors so I tried to portray those citrus colors in my designs. The first design came to me because the name Objet Trouvé is latin for finding something of aesthetic value or importance, so I decided to depict that with the discovering a shell in the sand. I then took that depiction and made two other variations with the sand reveling a hop and the breweries logo (Dave the hop head). *The hop head logo Dave was not made by me, but another artist that works with the brewery Ryan Wilmont.*
Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office - Portland, OR
Corrections Heroes Project
The Mulnomah County Sheriff’s Office was creating a new program called the Corrections Heroes Project. The idea behind the program is volunteers from the community go and hand out snack to officers in the corrections facilities. I wanted to center around a food theme for my designs because the program is built around giving snacks to corrections officers. I stuck with a brown and green color palette because the program colors were brown and green. They ended up using the top right design as their instagram logo and the top left design to put on staff hats and t shirts and the snack bins that they carry around.
St. Clare Preschool - Portland, OR
Infant Classroom Decorations
Over the summer I worked at a Preschool in Portland. At the end of the summer they change the theme of the room for the next school year, and this year was Eric Carle/The hungry Caterpillar. I made fruits for the birthday months and collaged the fruit together to make the name tags for all the kids in the classroom.
Columbia Sportswear Company (HR) - Portland, OR
At Columbia Sportswear, the HR department did a fun team building activity, where they had to pick a team name and animal and make a flag. The team building event was during the summer olympics, so they wanted the olympic rings somewhere in the design. The Compensation team named themselves the Pandemonium of Platypuses. I made this logo with the platypuses doing different summer olympic sports and decided to put them in the olympic rings. I then placed their name at the top, and the year and Columbia Sportswear Company (CSC) on the bottom.
